Deirex the Lich

I know this fight is probably suppose to be a breeze but it's been a year since I last played this game and I'm kind of rusty. I keep getting my butt kicked when fighting Deirex the Lich in the underdark. Is there some eay way to win this fight without everyone dying. Thanks for your help.

Try braching his spell defenses, then have your players positioned arround him, and keep hitting him until he fall!!!

Cast Speed on your party members too, then the fight will be so much easier.

Cast Disspell on him then breaching spells. When he casts mislead then kill it quick, then kill him! If it all goes pear shaped then go with the flow and counter his spells.

I had problems right at the beginning of the fight because he always stopped time and casted the death spell. So, I put my waker members back, and summoned some animals in front of him before he cast the time stp. that way he tried to kill the animals first. After that I found him easy to beat. The first 2 minutes are the toughest. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Where do you get the daystar everyone talks about.

Daystar : Secret door in the Inn at the City Gates. Behind the door is a lich and at the very back is a CHEST with the Daystar in it (not the tomb).

A few ways to get the Daystar if u have problems killing lich

a) Polymorph self into Mustard Jelly. Let him use all his spells on the mustard jelly (which is immune) and then bring the rest of ur party down to kill him.

b) Run down, haste character, and make them invisible or hidden in shadows. Drink potion of mastery theivery if u want, unlock the chest, (which makes u visible), grab daystar, run up. Kill lich when he gets up there. Should be able to use Daystar on him. (Oh and to be on safe side, cast protection on evil on party before entering, cuz the lich likes to summon a fiend.)

It's serious!
I can't destroy the Demi Lich!!!!

If my party is closed him, he use a spell and send my party to another dimension;

If i am summoning monsters, spiders, elementals, etc, the lich send them to another dimension (and i can't summnoning more, because i can do just 5 of them);

If i use a spell of reflect magic (or any kind of protection spell) there's no time to take closed him, before he send me to another dimension, maybe because the duration of the spell is too short).

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, IF SOMEBODY CAN HELP ME I WILL APPRECIATE!
