Deirex and Jae'llat problems (possible spoiler)

I've killed everyone in Deirex's and House Jae'llat. However, I can't loot them completely and I want to do so before I go on to the final quest with the egg recovery mission. Deirex's has this chest that Imoen cannot disarm/open. I had her drink a potion of master theivery and still nothing. I'm about to try a knock spell but I don't think that is going to work. Is there anything in the chest, or should I just let it go?

At House Jae'llat, I've looted the first floor, but can't get into the second floor as the wardstone disappeared when I made my intial entry? Any ideas on how to get in there?

Ok, scratch the question about Deirex's tower...I got in with a knock. But what about House Jae'llat, the second floor?

That door actually just leads into his house (same level) as well.

The lich house, Deirex's, has 3 doors, each on a different floor, at least outside. However, the second floor door and the 3rd floor door end up in the same room, just at different spots. Had a neato little thingie also, when I entered the place first time: basically I bought that rope from the guy outside. Then went to the lich house. As soon as I got in I hit 'Pause', forced the attack on the lich, and unpaused the game. Since my main char had Boots of Speed on, Improved Haste as well (not to mention other zoomy buffs), he was on the lich before it could even think "What the hell?" and was pounding it. Then the lich gave it's speech and started to walk towards the rest of the party, wanted to take the rope I guess. I suppose the game engine made him walk that way, as it was supposed to be a scripted even and the party was supposed to be at the door. Don't think that the Bioware guys/gals would figure that my main char was faster then lightning already heheh.. So basically I got a 'full screen', like in movies, the lich was walking slowly as they do, the party was standing BUT the main char was still pounding away. Lich took only some 3-4 steps and then was turned into 500 years old sushi. Easiest lich killing I ever had

That dude later told me to kill the lich, but it was already smashed good. I did clean the House Jae'llat, but I don't think there was anything worth of anything at all, at least not to me. Then I did the eggs part too, and after that decided to end it all soundly, with a smack. Beat up the whole city. Have to say that it was a task what my lvl 29 human berserker did all alone. Melee wise they were no match, and magic used was pathetic. I have seen a single lich giving me more resistance then all their casters combined.
