Is it worth the battle to kill this guy or should I just walk away after I get the two scrolls off him? I hear you can get these spells from him if you kill him: Wail of the Banshee,Incendiary Cloud,Time Stop,Infravision.

It would help if you were more specific about who ur talking about... so far we just have a name to work with... we need some more info, like a location. Without this information, very few of us will be able to answer the question... and those would be the few that are only on about once or twice a month...

Possible spoilers
* * * * * * * * * * I believe he is talking about the imprisoned mage in the Underdark. The first time Vithal gives you something.If you complain he gives you something else,and if you complain again he starts a fight.I don't remember what exactly are your rewards. |

Depends on my alignment and class. My last one I picked his pockets (with my Jester). Got Vhaliors helm which alone was worth it. Except maybe he gave me that willingly.... I can't remember. I got a fair few high powered scrolls too.
