This would be really nice although I think they might be a bit pricey for a bit.

Prices will drop rapidly when volume starts picking up: most processor produced in 2006 will be based on dual-core technology (see AMD and Intel roadmaps).

Additonally, dual core processors will be on Socket 939 motherboards for quite a while to come - so anyone buying a new system would be advised to futureproof their computer by buying into the AMD 939 route.

*drool* Guees I won't be upgrading for a while. I may just stick with some more ram to tide me down in the mean time.

ohh my gosh!
i want to build a dual processor system next, so i guess i can wait and build a dual processor system with dual cores.
Ohh yeah *drool*
it'll have dual processor, dual cores, twin sata harddrives in raid, dual nividia graphics cards, dual channel ram, and of course dual monitors, everything is in twos now it seems.

umm thats improvement and i feel dual graphics cards wont be as effective as a single powerful unit although having the 2 would be quite helpful wen it comes to games or programs that require intence graphics
