I read so much about online-gaming but because I don't know anyone who's playing such a game I want to ask you:
- Is there a character creation like offline RPG's ? - How does it work ? ( what happens if I can't play for some days or weeks ) - Is it unlimited ? ( is there a solution and what happens if one reach the goal of this game ) - Is there an interaction with other players and how does it work ? - Do you have to pay and how much ? - What is a good Fantasy MMORPG ? I know that are many questions but I hope you can give me some background. MANY thanks in advance |

1. first off... MOST MMORPG is pay per month basis. that means you have to pay a standard fee sad really.. so you need a credit card. next you still pay a fee even you dont play. 2. second most of the MMORPG has no goals in the game.. and if you do reach it (max level or know the entire map). it is unlikly you would be able to do without wasting COUNTLESS DAYS and in that time, there will be a change in the server of the storyline and plots. so its almost neverending 3. you NEED to interact with players and its more fun to gang up with people. thats the point. you can play solo but its boring. 4. standard could cost you 25 -30 dollars AT MOST (as i recall) just check before buying first the game first. 5. everquest is the most popular games. another game that came out recently was starwars. there are many out there. so make sure you choose the right one. note also that you can wait for the new everquest 2 that is coming out next year. it is so much better than the first one in terms of graphics and great new characters and such. and you dont have to waste that much money. i do recommend you to try out first morrowind. it is a single player but it has a MMORPG setting like environment where you are in your own world. its also a great game with a good story line.
