Soulbringer: Controls

Just started playing and I am trying to get used to controls. Camera angles seem to be controled by arrows on the number pad and 'Z'. Figured out how to create combos but not sure how to use them, select 1 on the right and click on the target maybe? What about a pause button, do you get a chance to move, or stop sao you can select targets? How do you bring up a map (found one in the inventory but it is so tiny it is hard to make out details)?

I'm looking at the quick reference card, and here's what I've got:
esc for pause/save/quit
you could also try slowing the game down with F1
caps lock for overhead map
F8 for key map

It's been a while since I've played the game, but if those don't work, don't hesitate to tell me

"Esc" - just brings up the menu, good for bathroom breaks but not to get your grip for combat. I had to come up with another strategy -"Run".

As for my game I am now enjoying it. Took about an hour or so to actually get into it to get used to it but it is now fun and I have learnt my first few spells.
