Shar-teel looks oh so dashing in her new cloak, but I'm struggling to find any use for it! Ok, so she can run a bit quicker, but she fights less effectively now. I'm considering selling the cloak, but wondered if I should hang onto it for any reason. For example (and this is a long shot!), a bit later in the game, my gang will visit an island full of werewolves - will the cloak be of any benefit there?! Failing that, can anyone think of any other reason why I shouldn't just sell it to the nearest trader?

I found it useful... If you get low on hit points, use the cloak, and get a few back! Then at least you have a fighting chance. Truth be told, I beat the big baddy with my "cloak of suxxorz" as you so blatantly put it.
I think it's useful.

You defeated the Armored Fiend, and the Cloak of the Wolf was a major factor?? Please PM me and explain how this was done. I think the cloak is just good for the money,,by the time you get it...you don't need it, and in most cases it is suicide to turn into a wolf....given the enemies you face.

Well, a warrior won't benefit much from it but a mage, especially a solo mage, sure will.

For some reason, with two different computers and two different versions of BG1, this item was always bugged for me and crashed my game.

I never use shapeshifting anyway, except to gain some HP as pointed out above. I didn't think the Wolf form would do this, but the item still has limited uses IMO.

As long as you had a low enough amount of hitpoints, any shapeshift will bring them back.

I'm intrigued! It may have a use after all. Please elaborate.

I used it in my all mages game- gave it to either xan or xzar as I recall - made their attacks better and allowed them to quickly run away when needed.
