I am going to be the server of a game, and I know what my IP address is, but why does the game give me a local IP address? If somebody wants to log in, do they use my IP address at home, or the one that GameSpy has listed?

Use your IP at home (that your ISP has allocated you) if you want to direct connect.

Thanks! I was confused as to why the game was giving me an IP address that was not my own! Imagine my confusion!
