<font color=skyblue> I am going to be the server of a game, and I know what my IP address is, but why does the game give me a local IP address? If somebody wants to log in, do they use my IP address at home, or the one that GameSpy has listed?</font>

Use your IP at home (that your ISP has allocated you) if you want to direct connect.
