Alas! This evening, the world came to an end! 'Tis sad, but true... the peasants met their match. Gruhntella, Sniffles, Lightfingers, Flicker, Eljayess, and Periwinkle are all lying in the morgue at the Brimloch Roon Inn, poisoned into submission by the fearsome Goshin, the two-headed giant that you'll recognize because he's a giant... and has two heads!

The peasants bravely and swiftly defeated the giant's pets, the four man-wolves that greet you at the beginning of his lair. The smelly beasts fell beneath multiple flame drop spells as the warriors, thief, and priest smashed away. 'Twas time to do battle with the giant...

Eljayess and Periwinkle readied spells... elemental blast and incinerate, the better to decimate him from a distance. They peeked around the corner and saw him, stuck in his doorway...

Periwinkle let loose first, blasting him with the force of the elemental gods. Eljayess followed up, spearing him with the power of the sun. Then Periwinkle again... but what's this? He casts a poisonous breath attack... no problem. We'll just back up, 'though we've not much room to work with. Eljayess casts... Eljayess casts... Eljay... dammit, woman! Incinerate him!

Alas, Eljayess had spent much of her sun mana on flamedrops, and had nought else to give. Goshin let loose another poisonous spell, and the peasants were taking severe damage. Backed up again... *thud*

*sigh* Flicker, Lightfingers, please... and Periwinkle, blast him again!

Eljayess switched to lightning, and Flicker rummaged through her pack, looking for a rebirth scroll. Let's see... exorcism... another poison attack...

*thud*

There goes Gruhntella...

*thud*

And Sniffles....

Exorcism... exorcism... exorcism... where in the nine hells did I put that rebirth scroll? A-hah! back up... got it... cast... *thud*

It's dark... so dark... and warm.... momma? Momma? I'm coming home, momma.... Tell daddy.............

Interesting development... a great dramatic effect!

But we really just feel for these peasants. They deserve to go all the way. Although it is against your principles, I hope for a resurrection. They did remember Miss Hissy's motto, did they not?
