Dark Side Issues (I think?)

No Spoilers so don't worry. I think it's more tech related. I was merrily on my way the FA map for the first time and I get a lovely blue screen with all the sounds of standing around outside the Friendly Arm, and nothing else. No request to change discs or anything. Tried Alt-Tab but nothing happened aside from my mouse pointer appearing in standard windows fashion though 3x larger than it would normally be on my desktop. Is this likely just an off and on glitch or do I have an issue that I need to deal with?

Ummmmm, okay.

First off: Did you ever see anything like this before installing DSotSC?

Next: What happens if you Reload your Auto-Save, and try it again?

And finally: What happens if you start a brand-new game and try to visit the Friendly Arm?

Six it's never happened before in my experience with the game; however, upon reloading everything worked as expected. I'm not sure about starting a new game, but it is my opinion that the event was isolated. Anyone have a clue as to how much fun it is to clear FA's map of all hobgoblins only using backstab?
