[ToB] Amkethran

Hello all, was wondering if there was a way to get into the monestary in Amkethran? Do i just break down the gate and go in or what? Also what does that little smithy guy(Kerricks i think)want, he said I didnt have anything. Hell the game is almost over(i think). Did I miss something that he could upgrade or whatever he does?

Did you finish all the other areas? If not, then leave the monastery for a while, go finish everything else and maybe you will find a key or some other way to enter the monastery. Right now the monastery is, as Balthazar has said, off limits for your party.

As for the simthy, he needs 3 items: one from BG1, one from SoA and one from ToB. This is more of an easter egg than anything.
