I am in Amkethran after pounding Sendai and Abagazibagiwhosiwhatsit into goo. I go talk to the barkeep regarding getting to Balthazar - killing two goons w/ bows along the way. He tells me to go see Faahed (something like that, anyway), who I am pretty sure lives in the hovel you have to pass through to go to the top of the cliff. Well, I go kill lots more goons, summoning a bunch of monsters, an Iron Golem, and generally running amuckamuckamuck. Then I get fed up, thinking the spawning will never stop (killed the Captain, does that matter?), and that I'll never find Saemon. So, I go to Faahed's home. I step through the door, briefly see his son and wife (not him, IIRC), who quickly disappear.

What gives? I wanna kill Balthazar!!!!! I'd prefer to find Saemon and spit him, but I'll take either way to Balthazar. Any help out there in advice-land?

Thanks as always.

Eventual a monk will drop the key to the monastery. Simplest way in.

Other than that, Saemon should be in the Smugglers Cave. If hes not there, its probably a bug.
