ok, I haven't played with the Sword of Chaos (Sarevok's blade from BG1) in my possession when you pick him up, I got the dialogue about how he didn't reappear with his Sword or Armor, and was pondering if anything special happens with them if you are carrying them when you get Sarevok in ToB

Not in plain BG2, but if you have the ascension mod, something reputedly happens. But ive never kept the damn thing long enough either.
