romance question minor spoilers

is it possible to have more than one romance at a time...because at the moment i am romancing aerie...but recently i went the gamefaqs and read the romance faq and saw that i was doing the jeheira romance...i think..cuz it said that u do all that harper stuff while u romance her and ive done that stuff and im just all confused now cuz im not sure if im romancing both of them or what

well i think u r romancin them both rite now....but sooner or later a dialogue will appear between jaheria, aerie, and you....u will have to pick one of them in that dialogue

its weird as hell cuz i thought i was just romancing aerie..u know with here tyring to sleep with me and all
but with jaheira ive had no love talks..i think...unless all that babbling about the harpers is supposed to be part of the romance
i didnt even realize it was until i went to game faqs to check it out cuz i wanted to see what her and viconia's was like..since i was all doing aerie

OKAY...listen to this and help if you can....

Does importing characters (overwriting your main character) then changing back to the character previously affect romance? ie i started out with mage 1 as main character, then to gain some items i imported mage 2 then gave my stuff to an npc to hold then i 're-imported' mage 1 and picked up the stuff....

I'm not sure if this affects but, (this also goes into TOB, so....SORRY!) when I finish Shadows of Amn and go to the pocket plane in TOB the character summoner thingy allows me to summon "Aerie, my lover..." But i have been romancing with Viconia the whole time!

Confused and annoyed...some help please!

I am also having problems with romances. They get to a certain point and then just.... stop.
With both nalia and aerie (nalia romance mod) I don't seem to get anything other than "thankyou" after not sleeping with them and respecting them and all that. I also tried it the other way with agreeing to sleep with nalia and all the females in the party just shouted at me afterwards. I am currently on a game with the imoen romance mod installed and I've been romancing her... just got to elven city but nalia has hardly said a word in ages (she said something about being tired a few days ago but that was it, and nothing for a loooooong time before that). can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong ? Ive never been asked to choose between any of them, though I'm always 'nice' to all the females except Jaheira who I can't stand, and her damn harper thing doesn't seem to be ending either. I've kept her in the party this time just because I want to finally end her stupid harder thing...

from the FAQs I'm just up to elminster coming and talking to her, but he never has, and I usually boot her before this point so I'm not sure what I'm waiting on. The only quest I think I missed this time was the planer sphere... couldn't be bothered with it, plus Imoen came to me in a dream and said to hurry up. Im on about day !118-120 or something. Should I stall and do the city later ? or does it finalise when I meet Irenicus ? (I've beaten the game once before but never seen a romance develope)

just remembered I actually started romancing nalia on this game.

I married her, fought all the roenals (all of them over time) and now the major domo is saying that's the end of them at last. nalia said I was the laweful ruler of her keep or whatever, but in the meantime Ive rescued Imoen from spellhold and started romancing her as well. Ive gotten pretty far (as I said, I'm up to the elven city) but Ive had no romance stuff in ages. could these mods be cancelling each other out ? but Ive never gotten to the end of any romance even before i started modding. I dont get it... I take plenty of time to get through the game and I'm sure I give all the right answers.

I know, that's what I was thinking, but I went and checked into it, and I found out what the women NPC's find ehh "charming" in your main character.

From what I've seen, (and read) and hopefully this isn't copywrighted, but eh, Vinconia is supposed to like a guy with a high strength score, so slap Crom Faeyr on him and you're good to go. Jaheira likes it when you're honest, so you can't be cocky, and Aerie likes a character with any non evil alignment, so lawful, chaotic, nuetral, or true nuetral. But as for Nalia, through out the entire 25 hours I played that game, she didn't talk to me, not even ONCE, I still got her keep because i was a fighter (wizard slayer, whatever), and when i talked about the marriage part she said "Ha, not quite, it's laughable really. No person of nobilty would believe it." Viconia is a hard one. If you say something sintamental (did i spell that right?) she'll see it as weak, and sometimes i've called her a (bleep) and she gets mad, but she likes the anger in you. So i'm not gonna lie, havin her in my party was the absolute biggest (bleep) in my butt i had to deal with in the game. That's just my 2 cents...

The Nalia romance is a mod. She wont say anything like that to you without the mod. The only female romances in the standard game are (Good) Aerie, (Neutral) Jaheira, and (Evil) Viconia. or if yer female you can romance that poof Anomen.
