Anomen romance (contains minor spoilers)

How is this romance? I'm thinking of adding him into my party in my next game, and I might make my protagonist female so that I can try this romance out. Is it a cheesey romance? Does it add significat depth to Anomen?

Here are my minor spoilers:

I plan on going the "good" path.

My biggest reservation at trying this out is that he won't be available for the final showdown with Bodhi, which IMHO, is the spot in the game where he shines the most.

Well, I think its great! Your character would have to be a certain type of person to get on well with him though. I've just done a fair amount of it with Lisca, she's got a mischeivous streak which is nicely offset by Anomen's sincerity and seriousness - he acts as an anchor that she has grown to depend on.

When it comes to Anomen's boasting, you don't necessarily have to be the character that would 'lap it up' - Lisca just lets him talk on because he enjoys doing it and just regards it as being one of the mildly amusing things about him. He does make the most romantic gestures, and will treat you like a princess if you let him. Here's hoping for an extended Anomen romance [img]smile.gif[/img]

I thought it was nice [img]smile.gif[/img] . I liked it better than the Kelsey romance I have done now (although that was okay as well - too much honey though lol! What was with all the honey?! ). I did find the Bodhi thing annoying though - with all the romances actually (non-mod anyway) - you don't usually have more than one cleric in a group and since all the romances are clerics, it makes it quite tricky with restoration and negative plane protection and so on not available.
