I have just finished Bg2 with my made up multiplayer party. Am I able to transport them to ToB or will I have to make them again in ToB?

No, you can just import the entire game. If you want you can kill Irenicus and it'll do it automatically. Try this if you have trouble.

Thanks, I forgot that you go from bg2 to ToB straight away. Not like Bg1 to bg2.
