Where is Sarevok? *end of game spoilers*

Where did he go? I just did that fight a Duchal palace and he teleported away. I checked walkthroughs on the web and they say you have to talk to Belt and he divines/teleports you there, and I did, but he's not talking back to me. He wasn't magically silenced or anything, and I can't figured out what do to now. I also tried going to the thieves' guild but it won't let me walk down that flight of stairs.

That definitely sounds like it could be bad. Did you keep a saved game from right before the fight? I HATE it when the game chokes like that.....Aldeth cheated me out of some EXP because he said I hadn't killed all the bad guys, even though I had....but your problem is much worse, of course.

(If there aren't any other options, you know how to cheat yourself down those stairs, right?)

no, how do I cheat myself down the stairs? I don't know how to use any of the cheats in the game. I tried using gatekeeper to put my party there, but the best I could do is outside the thieves guild.

Did you have evidence of what Saravok was trying to do with you at the end of the fight? IE his journal, and the note to the assasins? I think the game craps out if you dont have these at the end of the battle.

yeah, I have all of these. I just can't get Belt to talk, it seems that he's been magically silenced or something. I'm just going to hack my game into the underground area, anyone know how to do that?

I've been doing some research. You're right, Gatekeeper doesn't even have that as a selection. BUT: A thingy I found about the CLUA Console had this to say:

Cheats:Hans()
- Moves your characters to a free adjacent area.

I'm not quite sure what that means, but it's definitely worth a shot. The area number for the Thieves' Maze is AR0146, though I can't say exactly WHERE in the maze you might end up! Maybe you can slip X and Y coordinates in there as well.

If you type CLUAConole:MoveToArea("XXXXX") you will be teleported to XXXXX area in the top left corner. Unfortunately for you it's right by the exit to the Maze but it's better than nothing. Just so you know, the same thing happened to me, are you sure you have the latest patch and verything?

yeah, I used Dorner's patches and it still happens.

No matter now, I restarted the game. I figure, I never really took the time to complete DT or do any of the quests in Ulgoth's Beard so I'll take the opportunity to redo them.
