Party advice...

I made CG Half -Elven F/T.

I can use my guy as a tank(Backup of course ) and a main thief, but I want to use a "FUN" party, also well - balanced, with 2 tanks, 1 priest (healing/Buffing duties) 1 mage at least.

Notes:
1. Mine is a good - aligned party.
2. I WILL have Imoen tag along
3. It's about fun, baby!

Fun hey...well

Jan and Minsc are fun, using the Carsomyr with Keldorn is fun. You need a cleric. I think Viconia's the funnest one (if feeling homicidal is fun for you, take Anomen,) and Viconia can fit in a good-aligned party. (Clerics aren't much fun, sadly.) Finally, take Imoen, she's the point of the game, and is fun. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Fun as in dialogue and situations, or fun as in smash everything in sight?

Try romancing Aerie (complete with FW flirtpack), and take along Haer'Dalis, Mazzy, Valygar, and Nalia. You don't have a straight tank, but all the NPC tankables (Anomen, Keldorn, and Minsc) get annoying or they're not as fun, and the bestest fun party ever is an evil party. > [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you want a funny conversation, put Cernd and Korgan into your group...then after they gab you can dump Cernd, because he is definately not fun

I had very good banters with Korgan&Jan or Edwin&Jan...it was a funny party...

Minsc has good funny interactions with most of the other NPCs, so great choice for your party. Jan is fun, but unnecessary due to you being a thief. Not many of the priests are that entertaining (with the exception of Viconia, if you are romancing her). You'll probably want Aerie if you are playing an all-good party, or Jaheira if you don't mind neutrals, for romance in an unmodded game. Nalia is annoying, but is your best mage alternative (you can dump her when you get Imoen back).

Thus, I have 2 lists for you:

• All-good: F/T, Minsc, Aerie (romance), Nalia (switch for Imoen), Mazzy and Valygar (due to their interactions with each other).
• Good/neutral mix: F/T, Minsc, Jaheira (romance), Nalia (once again, switch for Imoen), Haer'Dalis (some good interactions), Anomen (fail test for more fighting, or succeed to make him shut up).

Feel free to switch this around; I'm just firing this off on a couple of hours of sleep.
