Let me explain this alittle bit clearer:
1) Let Shoal kiss my mage 2) Attack her and force her to resurrect my party member 3) Kill ogre 4) Instead of talking to Shoal, I attack her again with my bare hands (so she won't take much damage). She begs for mercy again, and voila - a new ogre appers. This can be repeated a number of times until Shoal panics, then I just talk to her, get my XP - and then kill her - more XP! 4000 XP, 5000 XP - what's the difference? |

I don't think Shaol is a mermaid, is she? It's something like, 'Shaol the Nerid' but I don't think that's the correct spelling. Shaol is in the map, north of the lighthouse, that has the
*sploiler* - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -ship and that mad mage guy, and...lemme think, it's got the half-ogres in it that the paladin in bergost wanted you to kill. I think it's actually the map directly below the area where Gorion is killed.

Its "nereid", and I'm not disputing the fact perivar, I'm just saying that I've never thought about trying it. Personally, the next time I'm down that way with a party, I'm going to give it a go!
The half-ogres that the paladin was speaking about, are an area or two down from High Hedge. There just happens to be some half-ogres in that area - along with hobgoblins, ogres, ogrillions etc.
