I generally like bands with a rock element... you know, drums or guitars somewhere in there
Slipknot, Disturbed, Korn, Tool, Rob Zombie, System of a Down, Blindspott etc. One Track Mind gets a special mention for having the stupidest song I've ever heard: 'I Like You.'

My favorite style is Tool, deep, melodic, hard, emotional.
But, I have respect for all music, especialy if there is a guitar involved!

I listen to several kinds of music, mainly rock, but generally anything I find that has a good beat. I try to avoid anything with an explicit content tag, so I guess that filters out most rap. This is pretty apparent with Linkin Park and Jimmy Eat World being two of my all-time favorites. Besides the excessive cussing, I typically don't limit myself to what I listen to.

Eh, stuff Like “Steeleye Span” and Black Metal Ala “Summoning” and “Bal-Sagoth” Is something I’ve been enjoying recently. Though summoning is almost like drum dominated trance with black metal elemants or sometihng and the spitting voice.
I hated “Morbid Angel” though. They were pants. I rather enjoyed Orff’s Carmina Burana, Hook that up with a good pair of speakers and it’s “heavier” than any heavy metal. Greig’s “Peer Gynt Suites” were appreciated too. |
