Steering Wheel/Pedals Problem (For a computor!! Not a car! :p)

I got a wheel and some pedals for my computor, and installed them, but when I play a racing game with them, I can take my foot of the pedal and it will still accellarate. Even if I touch on the brake, it will still accelerate again. This is happenening in all 4 of my racing games- Need for Speed III, Driver, Dirt Track Racing and Dirt Track Racing: Sprint Cars. Any help would be appereciated!!

The basics: Try to turn the wheel when steering. The pedals? Just give them a good stomp! LLAO!

Perhaps I should elaborate. Turn the steering wheel to the RIGHT when you want to turn right! And left when you weant to turn left! [img]tongue.gif[/img] OK I´ve had my fun so I´ll stop. Can´t help you though.

Sir Goulum, you need to calibrate your wheel and pedals like a joystick. This is especially necessary if you're using the games (joystick) port instead of a USB port.

Look for the "Gaming Options" icon in the control panel, select "properties" for the device you want to calibrate - there should be a "calibrate" button in there somewhere.

I've found windows is very poor at retaining a calibration, I often recalibrate when the stick starts drifting. Check inside the options menu of the games you play for calibration options as well, as sometimes you can compensate there - but you still have to have everything calibrated in winblows initially.
