I got a wheel and some pedals for my computor, and installed them, but when I play a racing game with them, I can take my foot of the pedal and it will still accellarate. Even if I touch on the brake, it will still accelerate again. This is happenening in all 4 of my racing games- Need for Speed III, Driver, Dirt Track Racing and Dirt Track Racing: Sprint Cars. Any help would be appereciated!!

The basics: Try to turn the wheel when steering. The pedals? Just give them a good stomp! :D LLAO!

Perhaps I should elaborate. Turn the steering wheel to the RIGHT when you want to turn right! And left when you weant to turn left! OK IŽve had my fun so IŽll stop. CanŽt help you though. :(

Sir Goulum, you need to calibrate your wheel and pedals like a joystick. This is especially necessary if you're using the games (joystick) port instead of a USB port.

Look for the "Gaming Options" icon in the control panel, select "properties" for the device you want to calibrate - there should be a "calibrate" button in there somewhere.

I've found windows is very poor at retaining a calibration, I often recalibrate when the stick starts drifting. Check inside the options menu of the games you play for calibration options as well, as sometimes you can compensate there - but you still have to have everything calibrated in winblows initially.
