Yeah well this fundamentalist christian doesn't see Bush as being a religious fundamentalist. Why bring religion into it? Kerry is Catholic. The "religious right" is a complete misnomer considering Christianity is actually a left wing belief system.

I would vote Kerry at this stage, though I'm still fully undecided and can't vote anyway.

I admired Kerry's line "rather than say 'God is on our side' I would humbly pray that we are on God's side".

Check out what the fundamental beliefs of Christianity actually are before perpetuating the ERRONEOUS label that Bush is actually enacting fundamentalist Christian beliefs.

On Election day in America, I will post the Official 'Ironworks Voters' Poll and on it, will have all the choices that the real ballot will.

Now I know we'll have people voting that are not in America, but it may still reflect the 'overall' feeling in America kinda. So it'll be interesting.

[/QUOTE]I stand by my statement and my beleifs. I am not ignorant of Christian beleifs and I am aware just how diverse Christian's are. Some are Pro-choice, some are anti-Abortion. Some are pro-war, some are pro Peace. Some are pro gay marriage, some are not. Some wear their religion on their sleeve and some don't. Some are left, some are right, and some are center.


I really do not want to discuss this further with you. It will lead to no good as it has always does. Inevitably you will repeat your claims I am anti-Christian and you already have tossed out the obligatory 'You are ignorant of Christianity'. So I will save myself the trouble of any further response and cut to the chase: I am not ignorant of Christianity and I am not anti-Christian.

If I was allowed to, I'd probably vote for Nader, or another independent candidate; but if I have to choose between the two major candidates, I'd probably go for the lesser of two evils, John Kerry.

Kerry over Bush, but if I were to vote I'd probably vote for some other party/independent (but as I'm not, I don't bother reading up on all the candidates to find out who I agree with themost).

My vote is for John Kerry.

When I look at Bush and hear him speak, I really do try to listen to him and see why some people like him. I just can't like him. My very soul tells me he thinks he's doing the right things, which is admirable, yet he falls short IMO of where I believe this world should be heading. We all have the power of choice. We choose those whom we believe can guide us into the future we want to realize even if it's the start with a small step. IMO Bush is going in the wrong direction. There are many issues I just don't agree with Bush. My main issues in this election are the Environment; Healthcare for the elderly; global unity (Bush just doesn't have it); ending the corruption of his VP, certain Secretaries, and Gestapo style law enforcements; his on-going agenda to empower the rich and forget the poor; the Economy; ending his agenda to spread his Christianity into certain laws; his scheme to profit from his Oil stocks and connections, etc. Bush is a very young soul. This world needs to evolve into a more mature place. Bush is an obstacle with his definition of compassionate conservatism. Where this world I think should be going, we just don't need it. We just need a whole-hearted, unadulterated compassion.
