Hmmm...

Trapped in a room with a pit fiend...

Turned to stone forever...

Poisoned to death by spiders...

All equally acceptable fates for Haer Dalis

ER right... why does everyone here seem to hate this guy? Hair Dallas, well I suppose the meanest thing I did to him was ...um... turn him into a staute decorating the enterence to my pocket place, along with Edwin and a couple of others. This is just as I killed him, so he kinda looks like hes dancing, unfortunatly, the angle is such that he *cannot* be resurected coz the 'blue circle' aint there. Does that count??? oh yeah and cespinar kinda runs around him... Thats what he gets for calling me 'raven'...

I've had a new idea for making Hair Dallas miserable. But it would require the sacrifice of some significant items.

Someone may be better qualified to tell me if this would work.

#1 - find an area with damaging ground cover (pool of lava in shadow ruins, etc)
#2 - load Hair Dallas up with regeneration items (egg on head, ring of regen, etc.)
#3 - give Hair Dallas ring of folly
#4 - move Hair Dallas onto the damaging ground cover
#5 - hopefully Hair Dallas can regenerate fast enough to stay alive
#6 - put ring of folly on Hair Dallas' finger
#7 - drop Hair Dallas from party
#8 - theoretically, he will sit there, taking damage permanently

Will the comp automatically take the ring of folly off Hair's finger when I drop him?

Will the comp automatically remove the curse of feeblemind from Hair when I drop him?

I only took him in my party once, but I didn't do anything bad to him. I figured something out, if you're doing his quest with the warden and all the bad guys in the other dimension, drop him off before you talk to the chick that lets you leave, many times. You'll get the exp because she can't talk to him. Unfortunately, you can't leave; so get him back in your group and get the exp one more time. Then again you could just use Shadow Keeper...

"well thats not really mean...."

No I suppose not., But then I'm an elven ranger; at least in the game, a GN. I cant really turn against my allignment can I? well I suppose I could... but surely leaving him as a staute decorating my pocket plane, with no chance of being resuced, is mean... after all its a ticking timebomb... and then theres thats infuratin imp, running around humming to himself... I *suppose* I could have put him tho hell first, but.. hahha, sorry just had a funny thought; give him to irenicus to play with, then bohdi and then 'dear' 'brother' Sarevok... hows *that* for meanness?

just had a weird thought; is it possible to lvl drain someone, say a certain tifling; give him all those nasty items that first post said i.e.;
"Had Haer Dalis read a cursed scroll of ugliness.
Now he's ugly.
Had Haer Dalis wield the Vampire's Revenge.
Now when if he ever hits anything with his sword, he takes damage.
Put the Armour of missile attraction on him.
Now he gets hit with every arrow, bolt and bullet.
Put the ring of clumsiness on him.
Now he's clumsy. Really clumsy.
Had him read the cursed scroll of weakness.
Now he's really weak.
Put the bracers of binding on him.
Still looking for a hook horror.
Finally, put the girdle of sex change on him.
Now he is a woman."

This is where it becomes *really* nasty; give him to JAHERIA to tounge lash.. Turn him to stone; plant him beneth the stones of Ailath..., lol; What I mean is, after turning him to stone, imprison him in th pocket plane... is *that* mean enough for ya?? oh and give him the spear 'back biter' too while we're at it...
