I assume that Viconia has forgotten how to speak Drow. Or the writers didn't know it.

Maybe Drow is like Canadian English the "natha" or a is used only for emphas.
Like a Candian would respond "No eh!" A drow would use a as there is no sush thing as eh. Thus "No a" or "Nau natha!".
