Viconia's Drow isn't making sence!

You know Viconia speaks drow when you click on her? Well, what she says makes no sence.
My sister translated it, and found out that "nau natha" means "no a" and "oloth zha" means "darkness is"
I assume that Viconia has forgotten how to speak Drow. Or the writers didn't know it.

By the way, where did you find the translator? Lat time I checked, the bookstore didn't stock English-> Drow dictionaries...

Maybe it could be a conditional phrase, or it could be drow slang that the dictionaries haven't added to themselves yet...

perhaps there could be more than one translation for a word.

Drow are scary... Not nice, evil, dark dwelling critters...

Well try using a Spanish to English traslator or another language. If they can't make these make much sense do you actually think the more complicated Drow translation will make sense.

Pritchke's got a point. The French -> English and vice versa internet translators are shocking...

Maybe you heard her wrong and she said 'Ust Natha', not 'nau natha'? Because Ust Natha is the city of the drow (underdark)

Has anyone considered that the Drow elfs does not pronounce the words like an American would pronounce them? They might even use sounds, not used in any of the 'surface languages'. The Drow/English dictionary - was that for the spoken language or for the written language? I wonder if the Drow elfs are using the same alphabet as we do either.

I do not know Drow, but to me Viconias words sounds pretty much like Drow (close enough

I saw how it was written in the subtitles.
And her drow IS drow, but the sentences aren't complete, or badly put together.

She might use some kind of sub culture slang. Each and every day, the teenagers are trying to find new ways to spoil their native language
