Interesting figures, dplax... is there a breakdown between corporate and government infiltration? I'd expect corporate infiltration to be higher from the US because of the number of companies (and resources). Governmental infiltration I'd expect to be lower... but I've got no basis for either opinion other than my own gut.

Of course I don't have exact figures, the presentator obviously only talked in generalities.

There isn't much difference between corporate and government...it is in the interests of the US government for Boeing to do better than Airbus for example...

Back when I was in uni (was only 5 months ago, but it feels a long time) we had a one day optional seminary held by French counterintelligence at which I participated. He gave us statistics of who (on govermentary level) attacked systems in France the most. First was the US, second Israel, third UK and China was only the fourth...

The most attacked sector was agriculture (competition in genetically modified plants), second was aerospatial companies (Boeing - Airbus competition).

He had declined to say where the french intelligence agency focused its activity...

Statistics can be surprising...

Well, it's a pretty well known "secret" that American and European states sick their intelligence services on each other to gain industrial secret. It's all a game, really.
