yeah, i definately did that also. Resting was awfull in that game. You wouldn't get healed much and you always got attacked, plus it took forever. I did the same, used the starter fountain. Though at high levels its insanely long to heal up, seriously.

I always used the "sacrament" fountain--much quicker.

Well, thats the price you pay when playing with music on. In this case, resting took about 30 seconds. Without music, 5 seconds.

thats wierd its sounds right but it was never that way for me because i alwasy tuned all the sound stuff of and had my own music playing through winamp i'll have to try

but it would still take up 8 hours in the game world

Hmm, really, interesting. Maybe when i hook up the old comp again and play, i'll try it.
