I've noticed that if I try to place a teleport stone in a bag of holding I get "you can not give this item away", once I found one (and needed one) in the chest near Roddybug but couldn't pick it up because "you can not give this item away". Is this a bug?

I believe that you are correct in saying that it is a bug. The teleport stones are deliberately fixed to where they are. So once acquired you can never pass them to another player/character. As a result that chest has the ability to go to Skullport whenever it wants. No-one can take the stone off it. There used to be a similar issue on level 12 but Ziroc fixed it. A similar flaw appears in the pyramid in Trollbark where Moric's shortbow can never be retrieved due to being plot sensitive and stuck in a chest. He may've fixed it but it's only been a few years. Ooo, I'm in trouble the next time that I log on....

I did notice that some chests tend to be more ambulatory than others, even hostile

anyone have any issues entering the secret door in skullport where it say's something odd?

This used to be the shortcut from the sewers, I'm not sure if the transition area still exists. Secret doors always tend to be a pain anyway, persevere and you may go somewhere

Ah! I need to fix/remove that door, huh?
![]() What I have planned is moving the teleporter closer to the entrance back to the tavern. That is coming up in the huge update--which btw I'm sorry for the delay, just had RL stuff to deal with, but I'm back to finish this! I'll also fix those stones. What I need to do is post a new thread called 'bugs and errors" or something now, post/report any current bugs or bugs/errors that may still be in the mod, and I can fix them before this next update is released. |

Not surprisingly, I can't enter that door either.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised given that it was Skullport but that Tiefling in the south quarter sold me a fiery burst masterwork longbow +7 which is described as having unlimited fiery ammo, but doesn't (what's the warranty on these things anyway?). Good thing I didn't sell my arrows. |
