Anybody knows what I did wrong?

You are either using no transparency index or the incorrect one.

What program are you using?

I can do it using PaintshopPro. I've never been able to use paint, and I spent a year or so "working" on a site making sig's and avatars.

If you have that I can tell you how, or Photoshop, but MSPaint you cannot trans.

(google told me)

Also downloading the GIMP, which is a free program, can be used to do transparencies. I found it a bit strange to use, but not too difficult to make things transparent.

If I have time later I'll take a look at that picture and make it transparent.
