Wands of Ligthning

Is there a trick to using these things. In battle, my mages are unable to target the enemy. The spell symbol will not click on the target. The spell works just fine, but not the wands. Is there a clue?

You get six shots with a wand of lightining, you have to target all 6 to get them off.

I'm sure you've found out by now, but using lightning, especially indoors, is a pretty dangerous proposition (think of the bolt rebounding and hitting your own party, lol).

There is an extremely electrifying tactic involving the Cloak of Mirroring, the Cloak of Reflection and several bolts of Lightning. This only works if you do not have ToB installed though.

When I have the cloak of mirroring, I really love when a enemy mage casts spell turning. Just cast lightning bolt at him, it will bounce back&forth until his spells wears of. In adition, any creature that gets inbetween ...
