Inspired by Zink's recent top 10 games thread, I thought we'd do exactly the same for films.
Same scoring system, no. 10 = 1 point, no.1 = 10 points. Here's my list:

1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. One flew over the Cukoo's nest
3. The Magnificent Seven
4. Life is beautiful (Vita e bella, La)
5. Pulp Fiction
6. Star Wars : the empire strikes back
7. Total Recall
8. Monty Python's Holy Grail
