Ranger Stronghold Problem

I can't receive the second quest for my ranger - nobody in Umar Hills wants to talk to me and the mayor said they don't want me as a ranger any more! I also can't go to my cabin and get ny stuff because of that. I've done the first stronghold quest Forest Spirit gave to me and everything was just fine until I returned after some time doing other quests. Anybody knows what's going on?????????????? Thanks for help.

Is is possible that Delon came to get you and you somehow forgot about it? That's all I can think of.

No, it is not the case. I came to Umar Hills as Delon requested the very first time and didn't see him since then.

Hm.. Are Madulf and the his gang there? I know that due to one of the Ranger quests they have to leave. Go check and tell me. If they're not there, it's a sign that you missed the quest, thus you failed to protect the village, thus they're pissed.

Did you give the kids swords and ale? This will result in the loss of your stronghold, as their parents will not be very pleased.

I took care of Madulf... set it up so that he and the village could trade. Everyone was happy.
I refused to give swords or ale to the kids.

Now that I've returned from the city, Madulf is no longer around and none of the villagers will tell me why they're upset... Just that I've not acted like a ranger and I no longer have access to my cabin.

Strange since I've done all quests mentioned in the walk throughs (as far as I know) and I still have a reputation of 20.

Ok, here's what I think happened. Let's say, for the sake of argument, you went to the Slums. Now, you went directly to the Copper Coronet (Remember, this is hypothetical, it could happen any at any area.) Delon was spawned at the Slums, but you went to the Coronet so quickly you missed him. The game recorded Delon's spawning, so the timer began. You didn't get to the Umar Hills before the timer ran out, so the Orogs that Delon was going to tell you about have attacked. Madulf and his friends were killed defending the village, hence their absence. The village was defenseless, hence the villagers' pissed-offed-ness. My only suggestion is reloading if you maybe have some game saved from way back.

The above is a good example of why its bad to use the CTRL+J shortcut that some people are fond of.

Yes, I think it is right - I have to miss Delon because every time I am in Slums I go directly to Copper Coronet without looking around. Thanks a lot, I'll try to find the saved game and fix it.
