Aran Linvail's lair

I was playing with a group of created chars (in multiplayer mode) and wanted to try and kill Aran Linvail just for the challenge. Well, he is not much challenge, but Whatshisname Gath who shows up out of no where just destroyed my party. My party is not super-high level yet, but I CLUA'ed many of the best armor, weapons and equipment for all my chars and they still don't have a chance. Is there any way to survive this, much less to kill the guy? Or is it hopeless?

Are you supposed to kill Aran before completing the quests involving him? (I'm assuming this is what you're doing.) If not, I guess you got what you deserve!

My guess is, you're probably not strong enough.

Try the instant kill cheat. "Cntrl + Y"
If the guy doesn't die this way than there's no possible way to kill him.

Arkanis Gath appears to stop you from ruining your chances of reaching the Asylum.

He'll make instant kills regardless of your lvl and equipment

If you want to fight Aran Linvail choose to side with Bohdi - then you'll get your chance
