Chatroom is down for a bit

I had to stop the chatroom because some few people that were 'leaders' in chat kept booting people, and I have the log as well. (And this new version of chat DOES log users btw..) anyway, I will be getting the upgrade that allows IP banning and will now require a registered Ironworks account to use. (It's neat, when you click on chat, your username will automaticly be entered and you can go right in!) It requires a source code mod for UBB--which is kinda big, but no problem.

Chat will be open again soon!! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Sounds wonderful!
I know alot of us were worried about that.
I am glad to see that little troublesome older version being upgraded to represent our standards.
Only members should have access.
It is for our forum members to enjoy, afterall.

Sounds great. Maybe this way Lady Z will be able to talk to people without being charged by msn.

Isn't it weird that people, who don't like Ironworks, would use the Ironworks' chatroom to disgust(yes I know I spelled that wrong) the fact that they don't like Ironworks? [img]graemlins/crazyeyes.gif[/img]

Ah, that's most definitely good news, Ziroc. I heard from Luvian about the chatroom abuse, very sad that people do such a thing...

Upgrade sounds good! Sounds like a lot of work, but if it keeps members from being booted on the whims of whoever gets there first (a complaint I heard from a few of our members) I'm all for it!

I was sorry to hear that IW's chat room was used to make disgusting comments and derogatory statements as well.

I know a few members were so put off they left the chat after signing in for the first time.

Can't wait to see the new version!

LOL, LoA, maybe followers will be a thing of the past. Doubt it, though.

I tried signing on during the late troubles, but I think tht it had been taken down, already. Just as well, the less said, soonest mended.
