Just finished Baldur's gate, totsc. Went to start game in Shadows of Amn and want to import my characters from totsc to Shadows. When I go to import there is nothing there. I get no option to look for my final save or is it supposed to come up automatically? How do I import? And do imported characters come with all the items they had in totsc?

Try doing a search for your subject. Try different variations such as 'importing characters', 'import character' and likewise. I know this question has been answered before, and by using the search option you don't have to wait for people to post replies.

Hmmm, don't you have to transfer your char file over to BG2's?

if its any help, when i finshised BG1; I copied Calaethis over to the BG2SOA dicertory, in Char folder... then you should be able to find it easily

When you're still in BG-TOTSC, make sure you export your character file. I don't think it's possible to import a character from an old BG1 game directly (thus without exporting) into a BG2 game. [img]smile.gif[/img]
