ransom quest

when yuo avenge the guy whos been buried alive, kill the guys who have buried him, have any of you kept the pretentious bitch who they were holding for ransom, and kept her for ransom yourself? how much money do you get for her ransom? does it affect your reputation? does her family come after you? do you get some experience when you collect the reward?

You get no money, but form mrmory their is some reputation to be gotten, but nothing to write home about. Yo also get a pair of pantaloons, which when combined with the ones from BG 1 and the ones from TOB can get you a nice suprise. However your reputation will drop as this is an evil path to take but apart from that their is nothing else connected to this quest?

The designers at BioWare put in an Easter Egg spanning all three
Baldur's Gate titles. The Big Metal Unit is the end result. To create
the Big Metal Unit, you must aquire an item from all three games. The
items are the Golden Pantaloons in BG1, the Silver Pantaloons in BG2
and the Bronze Pantalettes in ToB.
