I just heard on FOXNEWS that the Ricin poison found in England has been traced back to Northern Iraq. There is a lab there that is run by a terroist organization that is linked to Al Quida. According to British, French and US intelligence, the Ricin was produced there and then smuggled to England. The Area in Northern Iraq, is controlled by a Pro-Saddam Kurdish Militia.

You might also point out that the "Presidential Palace" AThat I have been bitching and moaning about for some time now is also located up there....coincidence? I think not. Of course it would take the UN inspectors so long to get there they could camoflage the entrances to the under mountain facilities quite well, since they were built to be hidden.

mmmmm never heard of a pro-Saddam Kurdish group. Since they pretty much got slaughtered by Saddam after the original gulf war. Sounds like someone at Fox is getting sloppy with fact checking to me. Did a couple of searchs on the Fox news site for this and came up empty.

Found the story at Fox News: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,75800,00.html

Several U.S. counterterrorism officials said they have not established any definitive link and they have no evidence that connects either to the government of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

More daft propaganda. It seems that the ministry of disinformation is alive and well!

Riacin is soooooo easy to manufacture - why would anyone go to the risk and cost of manufacturing it in Iraq and smuggling it all the way to Europe???

The only 3 things you need to make it are:
castor beans (Get it from your local garden centre)
lye (make it yourself from woodash or get it from your local grocery shop)
acetone (Hardware store)

As for the production process - I won't mention it here - but you can make it in your kitchen without any special equipment...

Kurds are not the only thing in Northern Iraq. There is quite a sizable military industriel complex there also known as a Presidential Palace.

Al-Qaida and Hussein are old enemies. Consequently, the only Al-Qaida cells in Iraq exist in...Nato controlled Northern Iraq. Big embarrassement for the Bush\Blair duo...

Please tell me more about this NATO controlled Northern Iraq. As far as any public record show, there are no nato forces stationed in Iraq, north or south.

Sounds to me like they are new friends now. Read this. And there is a lot more like this on Google.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...2%2Fwirq12.xml

BTW Skywalker, I too never found a Foxnews article in print on the Iraqi connection. What I heard sunday night was a TV reporter quoting sources in the French, British and American Intelligence services, as saying that they had little doubt the Ricin came from Iraq.

Skunk, NATO only controls the air, not the ground. Apparently the Kurds and the Turks control most of Northern Iraq. The Kurds are apparently divided in to three camps, two of which are anti Saddam and the third which is friendly to Saddam and Al Quida. Read the Link above. Also from what I have read the Turks have about 12,000 men in Iraq. they hope to grab the northern oil fields one day and also keep their thumb on the Kurds. The turks don't want the Kurds to become independent, because they are afraid that the Kurd who live in Turkey will rebel.
