Hey board,
just studying the tables in the back of the manual. Anybody Know what the extra skill such: as Detect Noise, Climb Walls, and Read Languages are on the bard/theif tables?

those are just ad&d skills, but theyre not used in bg2
the only ones you can use are: move silently hide in shadows open locks pick pockets find traps set traps detect illusion and btw....rouge skills sounds like youre talking about makeup [img]smile.gif[/img] rogue* |

Vision (you have to see to apply the right rouge)
Dexterity (for application) Charisma (to make the best use of it) Knowledge (of the best rouges) I apologize for the humor, but please understand: I used to deal with a bunch of rogues when I DM'd in an online game for years, and occasionally we'd get a new member who called the group "rouges." He/she'd be mercilessly pilloried by the other players, and I got to wincing whenever that misspelling showed up. I'll be quiet, and good now. [img]smile.gif[/img]

those extra abilities in the charts are valid PnP 2nd Edition AD&D abilities. For some reason, whoever made the rulebook copied the chart out of a 2nd Edition rulebook. It added much to my confusion, also, when i rolled up my first character ever: a swashbuckler who eventually died in the circus tent... oh, the shame... and the sweet nostalgic memories... monkeys...
