Party makeup:who to keep, who not to

I've just cleaned out the Nashkel mines (now beginning Chapter 3) and am beginning to realze the importance of party make-up. Right now I have:
Jaheira
Imoen
Minsc
Edwin
Mandgorn (sp? -- evil fighter met in the woods after Candlekeep)
My fighter
Does anyone have any advice or insight, especially as I move forward?
I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks.

You will probably need a good cleric. i dunno what your alignment is, but Branwen is true nuetral and can eventually do cure heavy wounds. Minsc will complain if you don't get Dynaheir(Gnoll Stronghold in the west) and she is a pretty good invoker. KEEP IMOEN!!! she goes up levels really quickly, although her strength is a weakness. you'll meet people as you keep going. Good Luck!!!!

I'm a Chaotic Neutral Fighter and I've noticed that Imoen moves up quickly. Does Jaheira do it for me as a cleric? What about Edwin as my magic caster? I'm new at this. Thanks.

Yo, In my party,its mainly Good and Neutral. But one EVIL guy dont do any harm,so chuck Edwin(MAGE) in. Keep Imoen.Go and get the best NPC on the game:Kivan.Also, use Branwen as your cleric instead of Jaheira,and use Khalid as well!

Hey,

Ive Never Heard Of A Mandgorn! I prefer Coran over Imoen... But I seem to be the ONLY one! lol... I found him in Cloakwood! U need to go destroy the Wyvern Nest otherwise he'll get a bit grumpy! lol

Thanks for the input. I wasn't a big Khalid fan -- I found him too whiny and not too bright. Plus since he was the one I kept needing to heal the most -- (and he wasn't even carrying the heavy lifting for me) I left him in a tavern for Minsc. I'll check out the others you've suggested when I find them.

Khalid is a GOD.He has the highest health points in my COMPLETED GAME party,so that is when all the experiance is added up.He is strong,and his lack of inteligence is made up for by others in the party.If you don't use Khalid,you should start immediately.

Ok,go to a popular search engine.Then search for "Fantasy Gifs", or something o the like.I think I got my GIF from a site called Camelot.Then,take the url,and place it into your signature (under profile).

Then,whenever a msg is posted,the GIF(the moving signature) will appear!
