I'm thinking of getting it, before KOTOR 2 comes out - I hear it's an IE game, but it's not isometric - is the feel more like NWN or like a FPS? Is it real time or real-time with pause?

pause with real time. its close to turn base as well. heavy graphics card and memory required to play it. story can be linear or not depending how you look at it with endless variations. its pretty cool game mario. i suggest you get it. or you may want to borrow mine? i finished the game already

Hey Memnoch,

I've played it and it does have a really good feel to it. The game play is real time with Pause so you can take the time to work out your next attack.

You only need to click once to attack and you can stack up different attacks on a row.

You can have two others in your party ( Jedi, Droids, Wookies) however the rest of your party will stay with your ship and you can swap people out at alomst any time.

It is hard to describe the feeling its kind of like NWN but its not. Hard to describe.

Has good roleplaying with your choices depending on if you go dark side or light side.

Hope this helps.

One more thing. Do not read any KOTOR reviews! Because some idiotic reviewers spoil a major plot twist.

Kotor is really good. It's based on a modified version of the NWN engine I think. It use the same files.

The graphics are way better than NWN. It feel more like a movie than a game. Everything is handmande. No overused tilesets for every areas.

The story is better than the one from the movies. It's my favorite RPG now.
