Alright, I've met Ravel, and I proceeded through the portal to take me to the next area. The cutscene where Ravel fights the floating green sea-weed lookin dude goes by and I hit the loading screen. Then the game crashes to windows. I think perhaps the file for the Ravel's Maze area may be corrupt, or it may be the area I'm trying to reach that is corrupt I'm not sure. But I have my entire cd 2 copied to my hard drive so I don't have to worry as much about load times. I'm beginning to think the files may have been screwed up in the process.

Your main problems seem to lie in transitions. Unless you have a very very old CD bay you needn't worry about the game being slower running from the CD.

Fixed it. Apparently the appropriate file didn't copy correctly when I copied the disc over. my cd drive is relatively new, if a bit on the cheap side.
