I learned the hard way that you lose the stuff you but in a fighter guild chest and from what I have read NPCs are supposed to take your stuff if you leave it laying on the open? What are your secret places?

I'm using a dungeon I cleared out early on. If for some reason a new NPC gets in there and takes it... well oh well guess he dies and I get my loot back.

Ok, I'm now leaving my extra items on the floor of a family mauseloeum in Imperial City graveyard. (Finished the quest first of course
 )
