Main plot, redoran halfwits (spoilers)

Okay I'm getting Hortatored. Now I've spoken to all the redoran councillors except Bolvyn Venim (I did admire him up to 94 and asked him but he said over his dead body so I reloaded), and they've all said they'll take it up with the others. Sarethi wants me to rescue his son from the Venim manor, and for the life of me I can't find him anywhere, and no amount of admiring will get anyone in there to tell me where he is. Where is he??

And when I do rescue him, when will I find out if I'm the hortator or not? Do I have to ask Venim even though he rebuffs me? They didn't say when they might discuss it with each other.

Sarethi son is held at a room where the door is clearly hidden by a tapestry. you ought to check on your local map for help. talking to bolvyn won't reveal anything.

after you rescue him, talk to sarethi again, then talk to all the redoran councilor, then talk to sarethi again, then talk to bolvyn. bolvyn will challenge you to a duel. hop over to arena in vivec city and kill him. go back to sarethi again to be named as horator.

Vivec huh? Blah. Are the ordinators going to attack me? I've held off getting the ashlanders to name me nerevarine because the Urshilaku guy said if I wasn't named by anyone yet I could go about my business. Had enough of ordinators chasing me when I went into the ministry of truth

Since I also join temple they didn't bother with me. to be on the safe side just don't go talking to them.

Arr......the ordinators hated my old character the nord since i always wore one of their sily gold helmets....although it was a good way to get into vaults, you didn't have to taunt them, all you had to do was talk to them

Yeah apparently if you ever even for a second wear some of their armour they take it as a mortal insult and hate you forever after. Sensitive little things aren't they?

Frankly I think putting some of their sucky equipment on would be an insult to ME and my ebony set, but hey! I'm just a dumb outlander
