He follows you around much like any npc that you do an escort type quest with. You barter with the guar to trade items and though a gold value will be listed, you won't lose nor gain any money in the process. Haven't played around with it too much though, so I can't say how effective it is if there's a fight at staying out of trouble or if it can die at all, but it's kinda cute anyway [img]smile.gif[/img] .
