The Elves Vs Dwarves Battle

This battle is to help make your decision on the poll that I posted in the polls section. It has created a lot of elf-dwarf friction

so we are going to decide it here...

So come on all my elven cousins and comrades. Let us crush the rebellious dwarves under our feet. All elves from Sea-Elves to Drow are welcome. Think of it as Madmans Bar-room Brawl between dwarves and Elves.

Shadow stands upon the hill looking down at the many rows of tents lined along within the dwarven army. He then turns around looking at his fellow Elves, all united against the fool dwarves. "Everyone attack!" His voice echos through the vally and trumpets blow, for the final confrontation for supremecy has started.

Calaethis draws his longbow, and fires round after round of flaming arrows at the stuntie tents, before drawing his longsword, and joining the melee...

IC: Shadow waves to Calaethis "Welcome cousin"
Shadow grabs his steed and looks down upon the dwarves to see what defenses they are preparing, he then draws his longbow and joins in with Calaethis and shoots some burning arrows into the tent area.

OOC: Umm... IIRC there was an entire race of dwarves who disbielived in magic so strongly that they were completely immune, not merely resistant, IMMUNE, if they believe it doesn't exsist, then it most certainly can't... [img]smile.gif[/img]

having said as much...

IC: The tree huggers are bringin the fight to us, brother dwarves, fire the ballista, catapults, gnomeflingers, trebuchet's, and mangonels all firing flaming missiles at teh flimsy pointy-eared winesippers, crashing into them destroying them.

While the cousins of the dwarves, those sneaky gnomes, tinker, rock, forest, svirfneblin all had their best illusionists preparing intricate and deadly webs for the elves. and the cousins of Jan Jansen prepared their deviated colons, rendered explosive by application of turnip brandy, were launched flaming at the drow, the resulting explosions devasted the lines of elves.

(OOC: if cousin races aren't allowed I'll remove the gnomes, although it allows you to bring in 1/2elves)

Then the dwarven militia advanced, in orderly lines well organized, and disciplined, while the elves, not in trees and unable to act as snipers against the dwarves while hiding safely out of sight in the forest charged chaotically (standard alignment of all elves is chaotic, non drow are normally chaotic good, and drow are of course chaotic evil, and this is a standard weakness in most army type wars)

and soon the dwarven General Knuckles gave the order for his legion of battleragers to enter the fray biting clawing, screaming, kicking, flicking, slashing, mashing, crashing, bashing, and anything else that might be needed...

Shadow throws himself onto his horse and charges down the hill, slashing left and right, feeling the dwarves fall under his blows. He sends a fire ball crashing into one of the catapualts. "We shall rule!"

Dagorion grabs his Greataxe, Koncha and charges into the pansy elven lines "BLOOD AND DEATH!!!!" Swinging Koncha left and right Dagorion cuts a line through the elves easily cutting through the futile attempts of elves trying to block his blows with their puny Rapiers and longswords. Soon enough Dagorion has fought his way to Shadow and makes a mighty swing at Shadow that cuts through the horses’ head and into Shadows right arm, severing it from his body.

I've been craving some well earned battle.

IC: Slowly, an elf of massive build, about 6'7", firey red hair, with stone grey eyes appears over the horizon. He stops at the top of the hill watching the fray below as a wolf comes up next to him along with 10 other elves of slightly smaller build.

"Stand ready men. There are many of this foe to be slaughtered, no need to hurry. All wait for my command."

Talthus strides forward a few steps and looks out over the battle noticing a relatively large dwarf with two axes approach Shadow from behind. Talthus whistles and the wolf seems to move with lightning speed, leaping atop the dwarf and pulling him back towards the edge of the battle. Talthus runs towards the dwarf and swiftly draws his huge sword and lops off it's head while moving in next to Shadow to fight the on-coming dwarves.

"ho there, I am Talthus. I came from the elven kingdom to the South in the Forest of Dral'zar. My men and I are the high guard to the king himself. He sent us here with word of dwarven forces heading this way from the West."

Talthus blocks a slash from a dwarf trying to flank him and quickly bats away the dwarve's axe before slashing it's chest open.

"I have another 20 men on the way here, but they have been delayed by the bloody gnome scout parties constantly patrolling our boarders."

Talthus parries a strike from the dwarf infront of him and strikes the dwarf's chest with a bone crushing blow.

"I hope you don't mind our intrusion, as I know how much fun taking on a horde of dwarves can be." Talthus smirks

Dagorion sees the elf killing his comerad and lets out a great laugh "Its about time them pansys discoverd seroids!" Picking up one of the axes dropped Dagorion throws it at the gigantic elf and continues on fighting.

Talthus hears the remark made by the dwarf infront of shadow and turns just in time to duck under the sword hurling towards him.

"Hah! your ignorance shall be the death of you dwarf! Steroids can do little for me. you on the other hand, look like you could use some."

Talthus grasps his sword with both hands and chants a few words in an ancient elven tongue as his skin slowly turns to stone and his sword becomes imbued with electricity.

"now let's see you try to cut off MY arm fiend!"
