The City of Waterdale(6th thread)

What's going on: After a town meeting five apparently friendly Baatezu(Lawful Evil demons) arrived, apparently just to get a drink. Possibly following them were the ten Tanar'ri(Chaotic Evil devils) who arrived shortly thereafter and attacked the city. The Baatezu are currently helping in the defense of the city.

Also, a mysterious river has appeared close to town, a green-robed ferryman is the one who has brought both the Baatezu and the Tanar'ri to the city, using the river to transport them. He's currently relaxing near the shore of the river, watching the battle.)

Galadria, the Baatezu and the two Sir's quickly dispose of the ten Tanar'ri and are dealt only minor wounds in the process. The Cornugon leader of the five demons sheaths his blade and speaks, "Hmmm.... This place looks relatively nice, it's not the boiling pools of acid and burning heat of Baator, but it'll do. We shall remain here. A few quick spells and our superiors will never know that we have escaped a violent death in the Blood War."

Ulrik came to where they were all assembled, as he guessed that they, with the help of the knights, would be able to handle the devils.
'So, you want to be staying here aye?? Well, it ain't what ye call normal, but I don't mind, so long as ye behave.'

Dnates finished his spell and realizes that he does not have a target for it anymore, so he just lets it fizzle away. "well fought, anyways just a few questions, who is that ferryman that brought you guys here, and one question about magic, when i draw this rune to summon some elemental power from the plane Baator, I dont think I am getting the full benefit i should be getting. Am I tracing the rune wrong or something in my casting?" Dantes asks the demons as they head back to the tavern.

The Cornugon looks at Dantes, "Well, two things are preventing you from drawing perfectly upon the power of Baator. For one thing you're a mortal and besides that your heart is not perfectly dark. As for the ferryman...." The demon shrugs, "I've no idea, some mortal from this plane. He arrived on Oceanus a day or two ago, he's been ferrying people around ever since. He sailed us to a big battle on Gehenna a day ago, it was on the way back to Baator that we decided to stop on the prime for a pint... Or twenty."

[Ar-Cunin]

Tarn realises that the fighting is over for this time

"I hope that all days aren't like this one" he mutters to himself, and goes to the barracks hoping to find a bed and then getting some rest.

Ytoshinomo- He walks out to the carnage of the small skirmish. "So, this is the aftermath of a small Blood War fight? I can only wonder what its been like. My contacts in the Planes never told me anything like this. Still, how long will you continue this war? Its amazing to see such odd creatures fight, though I'm not one to talk. You might recognize this Blade. It was made by a famous Baatezu blacksmith named Agushimon. I was one of the Generals leading a regiment of Kara-Tur soldiers to aid the Battle of Cornishun. This blade, is a very Strong outer plane blade, whatever you call them. Anyway, free drinks on me!". He then starts walking towards the inn, giving them a look saying "come on".
SecretMaster- "3 lousy months this city has been started, and look at it, battle grounds for demons. I WILL fix this city," he mutters to himself, before walking into his Manor.

No wonder it wasnt working what if i sacrificed the heart of one that is perfectly dark? would it work then??? The mortality thing I can get around. Maybe better go talk to the ferryman Dantes decides, as he head toward the ferryman at the mysterious river.

SIR TYREE (He and Sefa have just finished a command performance, and he looks out the solar window to see the evening settle in, the lights of the city winking on, one by one. To Sefa) "Get dressed, my darling, and do be more modest this time. I saw Galadria glaring at you during the meeting. We shall go down to the Bear and have a glass of wine."

OOC>The town civilians have been set free from the city hall.
Ytoshinomo-As the demons walk back into the tavern, Ytoshinomo moves two big tables together, and everyone sits down. "Bartender, give us your finest. Anyway, please, tell me about the war. I'll be glad to tell all of you my tale of the battle."

Band of Men- A small band of men walk up a small hill, leading to the main gates of the city. Seeing the carnage of bloody dead demons, they ready their weapons. The Gate Guard approaches- "Halt, who goes there?"
"We are a bunch of fair fighters from the town of Marath Sir! We seek enrollment in your barracks. We have heard that there is the Holy Order, but we do not have orders to join. Our purpose is for war and disaster relief only Sir! Our orders have sent us to this part. We have full expertise in Sword Combat, Artiller, and Ranged weapons. We will make a formidable defense with our knowledge with Ballestas and Catapults."
"Go to the Government Building right away, and the Secretary will lead you to your supervisor."
"Thankyou Sir!" And they head to the Government Building.

The ferryman had been sitting on the edge of the raft with his feet dangling over the side and into the water until Dantes approached, he draws himself up and stands on the raft, keeping an eye on the approaching man.
