Gang, going through the game again, this time with a Paladin. I just spoke with Bloodscalp, got the "letter of transfer" to Mae'vars guild and headed off to the bar/guild.
Upon entering my entire party gets wiped out faster than a squad of kobold commandos charging Gaxx the Demilich. No kidding, no exaggeration. Each character takes one hit, gone... my Paladin has 120hp, AC -9 to give you an idea of where I'm at... Anyone else experience this or got any input? |

Search older posts. There have been many threads about Lich-killing tactics. But Kangaxx is one of the hardest enemies in the whole game.

no- you missed the point. I got whacked by thieves(I assume) upon entering the guild. My party was decimated by invisible assailants before I could even react. I used the demilich as an anology to describe just how quickly I was slaughtered.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had been jumped like that upon entering the guild. [This message has been edited by oldbittercraig (edited 08-15-2001).] |

This is no real help but my friend had a similar encounter in the Theatre under the pub in the Bridge District. Attacked by occupants the first time they entered. We tried to re-create it in another game but couldn't. Strange bug?
Had you already been in the building and done something to annoy them? |

no, first visit- at least this time through. Hopefully when I reload it everything will be all right.
I'd say the encounter bordered on ludicrous, but everyone would be dead before I could even get the word out! |
