Lin in mae'vars guild!

In mae'vars guild lin is being tortured and in the final battle with mae'var lin allways seems to die and im getting sick of that dead guy in my guild . is there any way to save him? i have tried putting traps ALOT of traps next to everyone in the room but when he goes hostile they die, but lin also dies is there any way to save him?

there should be a way I think... maybe use spells like otiluke's sphere ect. to keep him from further injuries....

He is not killed by any of the people there, but by the script. So, no, there is no way to save him.
He could be removed if you want to meddle with scripts, but I think only before his death.

Thats quite gay i mean im lawful neutrel thief and what if i want to invite a radient heart paly to have some tea and scones i mean seriously that is quite gay i reackon that there should also be like another secret room under the basement for like hiding weapons and like having a wicked guardian thief there like that guy that shows up when u attack linvail! And where can i find this mod everyones talkin about the one where u can break thiefs out ? that would be kool

You can break thieves out by paying the fine. That's all I know. Maybe the enhanced Thief stronghold. try accessing the links from here.

As somewhat of a child of the 80s myself, I understand what you mean by 'gay', but also I see why it's offensive. It's the same with calling something 'retarded.' It's not meant to be insulting but, it is. Maybe a new word is in order? Like 'bunk', 'lame', or even just plain 'silly.' Hell, be brave and make up a word like Humpty Hump did and call it 'loopdid.' (please tell me you guys know who that is)

Anyway, as far as the guy in the guild hall goes, I can't be sure about saving him... tho since you know ahead of time there's nothing you can do to save him, maybe try killing him ahead of time yourself, and call it a mercy killing... And if the courts disagree, claim temporary insanity and call OJ's lawyer
